Our practice closed on May 15, 2025, which was on the campus of Sinai Hospital, and associated with Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Smyth and his family moved out of state in mid-2025 for their next adventure. With very heavy hearts, Shawn, Amy, his jack-of-all-trades office manager, and Adasha, his joyful fill-in helper, had to close the practice due to his relocation.
We thank every single family who let us in, to walk along side you on the sacred journey of your lives, and we continue to send you love.
Health is a state of complete physical, mental, emotional and social well-being.
Dr. Smyth has years of experience in movement disorders and behavioral neurology/neuropsychiatry, he refines his skills to stay up-to-date with medical advancements, and is committed to providing family-centered quality neurologic care to patients.
Dr. Smyth provides medical consultation and coordination of care for all types of neurologic movement disorders and cognitive disorders. He also evaluates individuals for the possible use of and treats with 1) botulinum toxin injections, 2) deep brain stimulation (DBS), and/or 3) continuous levodopa infusions, as indicated, for Parkinson disease, dystonia, or tremor disorders.
